Wellington, August 9: New Zealand selectors have reposed faith in their star bowler Trent Boult and all-rounder Kyle Jamieson and picked both of them for the upcoming ODI series in England.

There is every chance that Boult could return for the forthcoming ODI World Cup 2023 scheduled in India later this year in October and November.

For now, New Zealand’s selectors have included Trent Boult in a 15-member squad for four ODIs due in England. Reports said that Jamieson has recovered from his back injury.

Boult and Jamieson last played ODIs in September and April 2022 respectively.

Boult has been featuring in T20 leagues around the globe after getting released from his New Zealand central contract last year in August. Boult represents Rajasthan Royals in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL) and he also turned out for Mumbai Indians’ New York in their Major League Campaign. Boult was the highest wicket-taker in the MLC.
