Italian Trekker—Body of Missing Italian Trekker Found in Ladakh

Another Injured Mountaineer Rescued

Leh, 13 August: Davide Macelle, the 39-year-old trekker from Italy, is dead. The body of Macelle has been found in the Ladakh region, officials said on Sunday.

According to details provided by a news gathering agency, another injured trekker has been rescued in Ladakh.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Kargil, Anayat Ali Chowdhary, confirmed the death of the Italian trekker while speaking to Press Trust of India.

Dacide Macelle has been missing from Leh to Zangla in Himachal Pradesh. On July 23, the foreign trekker was seen alive in Hankar.
