Common Causes of Deaths Cardiac Arrest & Low Concentration of Oxygen
Srinagar, July 23: Two more pilgrims from Indian state of Rajasthan passed away on their way to Amarnath cave, thus taking the total death toll during the current year’s pilgrimage to 36.
Officials said that till July 22, the fatalities of Amarnath pilgrims reached 36.
Phateh Lal Manaria died at the holy cave while Mangi Lal breathed his last at the Baltal base camp in Sonmarg. Both were in their 60s.
Health officials said that Manaria died of cardiac arrest.
“Two more Amarnath pilgrims have died, bringing the total number of fatalities in this year’s pilgrimage in the south Kashmir Himalayas to 36. The two pilgrims were from Rajasthan,” officials said.
