Mumbai, April 22: Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, conceded 31 runs in one over in an Indian Premier League (IPL) game while playing against Punjab Kings at the Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.

Arjun Tendulkar plays as a left-arm medium pacer and middle-order batter for the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians in the lucrative IPL.

Batting first, Punjab Kings in the absence of their regular skipper Shikhar Dhawan were struggling against MI before stand-in captain Sam Curran led from the front. Curran targeted the young Tendulkar and took him to the cleaners.

In the last five overs, Punjab Kings scored more than 90 runs to post 214-8 in the allotted 20 overs. At the halfway stage, Kings were struggling with four top order batters back in the pavilion.

In pursuit of 215, MI lost Ishan Kishen in the second over of the game. MI have Cameron Green, Tim David, Rohit Sharma in their camp and they are capable of chasing down big totals on their home turf.
