Anantnag, May 03: In a startling claim, the Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Ravinder Raina said on May 3 that the saffron party “will form the next government on its ownâ€in Jammu and Kashmir.
Raina claimed that the BJP won’t be needing support of any regional coalition with the National Conference.
Raina was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of workers meet at Khanbal Anantnag, in southern Kashmir.
The BJP leader further claimed that his party “will win many seats in the Kashmir valley too.â€
Responding to People’s Conference Chief Sajad Lone’s statement, which he made during an interview with Karan Thapar of The Wire, that BJP and NC will form next government in J&K, Raina said that “BJP will win the majority of the seats in J&K and there won’t be any need of coalition with the NC.â€
