Karachi, May 6: Babar Azam has become the world’s first batter to score 5,000 runs in record 99 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), 97 innings, while playing against visitors New Zealand in Karachi in the fourth ODI of the 5-match series on May 6.
Pakistani skipper and star batter Babar Azam created a new world record in One Day Internationals, as the stylish batter has amassed 5,000+ runs in less than 100 ODIs.
At present, Azam has 5008 runs from 99 ODIs, laced with 17 centuries at an impressive batting average of 60.
