Bengaluru, May 10: Majority of the exit poll results on Wednesday predicted a cliffhanger in the Karnataka Assembly elections 2023, but gave a clear edge to the Congress party over the BJP.
According to several exit poll results of the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023, a hung assembly in the southern state of India is in the offing. Poll pundits are of the view that the Janata Dal (Secular) could be the kingmaker once again. The JD(S) is expected to win between 14 and 33 Assembly seats.
There are a total of 224 seats in the Karnataka Assembly. Any party that wins 113 will form a majority government.
Exit Poll Results:
- ABP C Voter exit poll is giving the highest seats to the Congress at 100 to 112 and only 85-95 to the BJP.
- Republic TV-P MARQ exit polls are predicting 94 to 108 seats for the Congress, and 85-100 for the BJP.
- TV 9 Bharatvarsh- Polstrat exit polls also predict 99-109 seats for the Congress and 88 to 98 seats in the BJP’s kitty.
