
Karachi, May 6: After winning four One-Day International matches of the ongoing 5-match ODI series against visitors New Zealand, Pakistan are now the International Cricket Council’s number one ranked team in the ODIs.
As a result of 4-0 lead in the ODI series, Pakistan are the top of the ODI charts with 113.483 points. Australia (113.286) are ranked second while India (112.638) dropped to number three position.
The No. 1 ranking is a huge boost for Pakistan in the ODI World Cup year as they have been consistently good in the 50-over format.
Moreover, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam continues to dominate the ODI ranking by occupying No1 spot. He is the fastest player to score 5000 runs and 18 centuries in the history of international cricket.
